tenyearsafter, your questions are confusing to me but I'll try to answer.
JW's are Christians. We believe that Jesus is the Son of God. But because Christianity fractured into so many different groups Jehovah had to pick one to carry His message.
Yes, I have reasons to believe that JW's are the only true Christians.
JW's ARE worshipping like the early Christians. The message is basically the same for anointed and great crowd. Only the destinies are different.
Scriptural backup for what?
JW's are NOT significantly different from the early Christians.

Heaven and jookbeard, the Bible plainly states that most people will refuse to serve Jehovah.
"Go in through the narrow gate; because broad and spacious is the road leading off into destruction, and many are the ones going in through it; whereas narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are the ones finding it." (Matt 7:13,14)

The early Christians preached extensively from Jerusalem to Rome, from the day they were baptised.
JW's have a similar preaching style, although we go much farther afield.
The early Christians were gathering the anointed. Today, we're gathering the 'great crowd'.

DATA, Jehovah's purpose is to establish His Kingdom on earth, and He is using JW's to gather the people who will live in that Kingdom.

Shirley, I can't prove that JW's have the Truth. You have to prove it to yourself. (Romans 12:2)
Yes, I have read the 7/15/13 WT. It's fascinating to me.
I don't know who Jehovah was using between the 1rst century Christians and the JW's. True Christians were scattered during those years.

Shirley, I disagree with that quote.
Jehovah has ALWAYS used certain people or groups to accomplish His purpose.
He started with Abraham, who led to the Hebrews(Jews), who led to the Christians, who led to JW's.
How can all Christian groups be approved by Jehovah when they all teach contradictory doctrine? Jehovah HAD to narrow it down to one.
There is only ONE way. Jehovah's way.

problemaddict, I believe I must COOPERATE with, not serve, the GB. This is the arrangement Jehovah has put in place to accomplish His will at this time.
"Be obedient to those who are taking the lead among you and be submissive..." (Heb 13:17)
